(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CO'KOMANPEL, Monday. An ordinary meeting of tbe Coromandel County Council was held to-day. Yachting Accident. —The chairman proposed "That the council tender their sympathy to those bereaved in the recent yachting fatality.—Thia was agreed to. Domain Concert.—lt was resolved that Mr Jeune be thanked for his efforts. Preventive Works.—Crs. O'Brien and Rryce were asked to report on the cost of preventive works for wash - out In Mercury Bay. Accounts. —Accounts amounting to £528 3/6 were passed for payment.
