MADMAN TAKES THREE LIVES.
An insane man named Gilbert Twigg, armed with a double-barrelled shot gun loaded with bullets, fired into an assemblage attending an orchestral concert in Winfleld, Kansas, on August 14.
He killed three persons, wounded twenty others, and after being wounded himself by a policeman ended his own life by means of a revolver.
The orchestra was in a park band stand near the principal street, and had just finished a waltz when Twlgg opened fire.
