A VESSEL ON WHEELS.
The transport authorities of the British Army are very interested in a new waggon invented by a Mr George Winter, which depends neither on horse nor fuel for its propulsion, but utilises the forces of nature. The new waggon is* practically a vessel on' wheels, and receives its motive power from the wind- It is provided with a mast some 30ft high, and hes a sail 240 square feet in aj-ea. The inventor recently carried out experiments which, he claims, have fully proved fche success of his novel method.
