BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THEIR FOREMEN
(To the Editor.) Sir, —In your report of last evening re Education Board architects I was considerably surprised to see the reference made to the Northcote school in Mr Parr's speech. 'It would appear that some complaint had been made with reference to the laxity of the foremen, and that the work performed by them at Northcote school had been unsatisfactory. Having been chairman of the school committee for many years, I was astonished to see such a matter mentioned in connection with the work done at the school, as the committee have not only expressed satisfaction, but invariably eulogised the work done by the board's foremen. —I am, etc., H. CADNESS, Chariman Northcote School Conunittee.
