a Waihi stocks are on the up grade at present, an all-round advance in prices having taken place to-day. For Waihi shares 109/ was offered, and • buyers of Grand Junctions advanced to 24/, while holders asked 26/. Consolidated shares changed hands at 1/, with further buyers at 10d. and Extendeds sold at 1/5. n other lines Kuranui Caledonians finned in price, being sold and wanted at 1/2. Mahara Royals were in demand at 3/1, and Komata Reefs sold at 1/4. Old Hauraki shares had a good advance from 3/2 on Saturday to 3/11 to-day ; while paid-up issue sold at 4/2 and 4/7, with buyers left at 4/6. Standard stocks had excellent demand, buyers quoting good rates for 20 different lines, but in most cases there was no change in values. Kaiapoi Woollen were, however, firmer, being wanted at 131/6.
