ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
An 'elderly man named Francis. Calon, of Lake Takapuna, fell off the ferry-boat Osprey at Devonport this morning as the boat was leaving the wharf. He was helping a young lady to get on board when he overbalanced himself and fell into the water, striking one of his shoulders against the wharf in falling. It was found when he was got out that his shoulder was dislocated, and he was sent to the hospital.
