JESUITS IN EXILE.

LONDON, June 19
The hastened exodus of Jesuits from France is evidently continuing on a large scalp, as shown by increasing arrivals in England. In addition to the monks of Chartreuse and other monasteries who. have settled in the Isle of Wight and
other parts of the country, 30 Benedictines, as weii as 65 students, all of whom have been expelled froiii the Ipouai College, are about to take up their residence in Portsmouth.
On the arrival of the party from Dover at Charing Cross station they were received by not less than one .hundred, of the Catholic clergy, besides the more representative laymen, who welcomed them to England, and presented them Avith an address signed by nineteen English Catholic Bishops, nine peers and 24 abbots. i
The Pope sent a special message, containing his blessing and good wishes for the future happiness of the exiles.
