Extradited. —George A. Young, a youth, was charged with -the theft of a bicycle at Sydney on February Ist. Constable J. . MeQuaka, of the : New . South Wales police, produced a warrant for the apprehension of the a ccused, arid upon the application of- Chief-Detective Grace, Young was ordered to. be/ extradited to New Soiith Wales. ■
Alleged Embezzlement.—Frank Suart, a well-dressed young man, who had been apprehended by an Auckland detective upon an in-coming steamer, was, remanded for a week, charged with embezzling a cheque for £16 16/ at Sydney on Febraary Ist.

sident, and Mr John T. Hough, J.P.) Committed for Trial.—-A youth named Alfred Henry Skelton/ already committed for trial at the Supreme Court, charged with robbing was brought before the Bench on a further charge of. steak ing a quantity of clothing and small articles, of the total .value of £7 9/6, from :the ■d.welling lio"use .of Charle3 Grant. Accused was arrested upon another charge while he was on board the Mararoa, the day before she left Auckland. He was committed for trial.
