j (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) j TAUPO. this day. The Boer delegates and their '.vives I arrived here yesterday afternoon, after jan enjoyable trip overland from I'ipiriki. ! They were charmed with the scenery en j route. They had a beautiful trip across i Lake Ta.ipo. being impressed with the ! size and grandeur of the surrounding | mountains. They stay at the "Spa." | and k..'.•■' for Rotorua to-doy. Captain Kirkpatrick. of the New South Wales Bushmen Corps, aud Messrs. Blundell and Hull, of the New Zealand Agricultural Department, accompany them. The Boers arc impressed with the suitability of the country round Tokaanu for the introduction of African game of, the st-embok tribe.
