LICENSING COMMITTEE.

UREY LYNX. immediately after the last general elections a combined meeting of the various no-license committees in lhe Grey Lynn electorate was held, for the purpose of considering what united action could be taken in regard to selecting candidates for lhe Licensing Committee. After the matter had been fully gone into a sub-committee was appointed for the purpose of selecting candidates. This sub-; ominittee hns now selected the following candidates: — Messrs. S. C. Brown (Surrey Ward.. Grey Lynn.i, R. Mali (Sussex Ward), W. JL .Lyon (Mount Eden). It. Thompson (Arch Hill), and F. Ellisdon (Kingsland).
