The New South Wales Minister of Works has received a report regarding the operations of the Government female registry. The number of employees registered as requiring work from 10th March to the end of November totalled 1744, of which 610 were general servants, 224 house and parlour maids, 125 housekeepers, and 102 cooks and laundresses, while those sent to employment numbered 1285.
