The local representative of the Associated Board (Mr Hugh E. Cooper) received advice by the mail today that Miss Helen A. Morris, daughter of Mr Percy A. Morris, of Levuka, Fiji, has won the silver medal awarded by the Associated Board of the Royal Academy, and the Royal College of Music, London, for the second highest marks in the honours section of the local centre examination in pianoforte playing througl** out New Zealand. Miss Morris is a pupil of Mr J. F. Bennett. The Ferry Company's list of excursions for this week appeal's in ouf advertising columns, __ , , y _,_j.
