The Summer Meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club was brought to a conclusion this afternoon at Alexandra Park. There was a good attendance, and the track was in fast order. Fidget past the stand the first 'time, but going down the back Rosalind broke, and let Fidget into second place. She went up to the favourite in the straight, and coming on won. easily by 30yds. A protest on the ground of galloping was dismissed. Time, 3.523. Dividend, £1 14/. SECOND PONY TROT HANDICAP of 2630V5. One mile. 6S—T. After half a mile had been covered, Jingo took command, and was' never headed, winning ■by 50 yards from Sandfly, Victor. Hugo a bad third. Time, 2.49 J. Dividend, £4.
