In the Warden's Court yesterday tbe following applications were granted:—D. Stevenson, timber cutting warrant, 20 acres for six months In Mataura bush; J. McKeown, Martha Hill Extended special claim, to be worked within 21 days; same, Martha North special quartz claim, within 21 days; H. A. Fritch, timber cutting warrant for 20 acres, Rataroa creek, six months; R. Davies, timber cutting warrant, 20 acres, Waihl, six months; W. P. Price, residence site, two roods, Waikino, subject to surrender of site at Wai-tekauri; E. Poster, residence site, two roods, Waikino; M. Reddy, residence site, part of section 247, Waihi. The following applications were struck out owing to laps© of time: J. Daly, water race, two xnttes on Ramerain*
creek; F. W. Hubbard, residence cite, two roods, WaUsino. The surrender by C J Miller of the Three Cheers special claim was accepted from 30th July, 1902.
