Messrs George Thomas and Co. report: —Lemons:, The market is well supplied, Milduras realising from 8/ to 8/6; Sydneys 7/6 to 9/, and Aucklands at 6/. Apples: A much improved market is reported, especially for dessert descriptions. Samples of dessert from New Zealand of approved quality are worth from 9/ to 12/; prime, well packed and graded Hobarf scarlet Pearmalns are worth 11/ to 12/; Stunners, 9/ to 10/; French crabs, 9/; stone pippins, 9/6; other varieties, from 8/ to 8/6. Potatoes: The market hap taken a jump for table descriptions owing to large withdrawals to South Africa and Australia, and the market to-day Is firm at £4 5/ and £4 10/ per ton. Eggs: During the week 9d has been the market value. Poultry: Foyrls are easily worth 3/6 per pair for mixed and 4/ for prime lots; ducks, 5/; turkeys, 8/ to 12/. Fungus: Value unaltered at 5d per lb. Honey: Fair demand at 2Jd to 4d per lb In 561b tins, and 4Jd in 7>b to IMb ditto. Hides and sheepskins: Sheepskins from 3d to 4d per lb; hides, from 10/ to 21/ each.

Hides: Prices advanced for all well-conditioned lineß; second-class at late quotations. Prime ox sold to 7id; stout, 4jd to Hd; light, 4Jd to 4Jd; cow, best lines, 4Jd to, 44d; picked, 4jd; seconds, 3Jd v to 33d; kip, S|d to. 44; call, well flayed, 44d to sd; yearlings, 4d to 4Jd; stags', 2d to 2Jd per lb; damaged hides at low prices. Sheepskins: Local green and salted average 2/9; picked, 3/; cuu&try salted, 1/9 to 2/6;' dry, 1/ to 2/; damaged, Id to 6d each.
