AMUSEMENTS
DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.
The City Hall was well attended last evening, and the programme met with its usual acceptance. Miss Florrie Ranger, serio, made her first appearance, and her turn was received with warm approval. She has an excellent style, and v/as loudly encored. Miss Stella Ranger is the possessor of a pleasing soprano voice, and her solos were heatrily applauded. Cunning, the magician, and Frohman, coon impersonator, recent additions to the bill, were well received, and tbe othe r members of the company met with their usual success.
The brigantine Defiance arrived from Wollongong as we went to press, anchoring in the stream to await medical inspection.
