The sub-committee appointed, at Friday's meeting- of citizens to make recommendations on the details of a scheme for entertaining the children on Coronation Day met yesterday afternoon for the purpose of drawing ■jp recommendations to be placed before the meeting of teachers with the members of the committee tonight. After considering the difficulties of the uncertainty of the weather, and of securing a hall large en^ cugh to hold all the children, the committee decided to recommend to the meeting to-night. " That the children be entertained at a Coronation feast on June 26th, -at half-past ,twelve, in Queen - street, which for the purpose shall be coyI ered in with canvas from Wel-lesley-street to Victoria-street."
