As previously announced. Mr Harry Pickards' No. 1 Vaudeville Company will make their first appearance in Auckland on Thursday evening next at the Ooera House. The principal attraction will be the first, appearance r'f the famous juggler. Paul Cin-UevnlH.wbo arrived a fortnight ago by the s.s. Sierra from San Francisco, under engagement to Mr Rickards. Probably no vaudeville artist is better known than Cinquevalli. His feats border almost on the impnssible.a.nd must he seen to be thoroughly appreciated. From his eleventh yep.r this marvellous artist has been before the public continually maintaining bis well-earned 'popularity. His feats are so numerous as to enable him to appear nightly in an entirely new repertoire. Amongst his most celebrated tricks are the juggling of billiard balls, playing a mine of billiards on his back, the o^nr>nn-boll trick, waistcoat trick, etc. The latest feat which he accomplished is the juggling and balancing of a carriage on his chin. This will be accomplished during the Auckland season. The artists supporting Mr Cinquevalli a.re well known on the vaudevil'e stage. Madame Lydi.. Veamans-Titus is described as "the peerless lyric actress and travesty queen." She is assisted by Mr Frederick J. Titus. She has command of a clear and pleasant voice and a wonderful nower of mimicry. Mr Chas. Colby and Miss Alice Way wi" introduce the latest novelty in the ventrilonnial art. and also their famous dancing doll. Professor Charles Wrtsrley is a clarionet and saxophone soloi«t of European reputation. Miss Ni£a I/eetP contra'to vocalist: Mr James Onie. baritone: the Diamond Duo of dancers. vocallsts. ar*d instrumentalists; and Charles Walker and Ida May.
