DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.
A change of programme was presented by Mr Dixs Gaiety Company at the City Hall on Saturday night, and drew a crowded house. The Little Dartos, who terminated their engagement, were given a very hearty send-off. Miss Priscilla Verne also made her farewell appearance, giving some very successful vaudeville specialties. Miss Olive Lenton gave some new songs, which took exceedingly well; and Miss Molly Bentley's ballads were as usual most popular. Messrs Harvey, Clark, Morris, Cowan, and Fitts all did well • in their several conrtibutions. Miss Beryl Gilman sang well, and Mr Frank Clark's farce "On the Tiles" wa3 productive of great amusement. This evening there will appear for the first time in New Zealand, direct from America, Cunning, one of America's greatest magicians, and Dave Frohman, coon singer and impersonator. To-morrow evening Misses Florrie and Stella Ranger will appear for the first time in Auckland.
