COMPETITION AT THE THAMES.
On Saturday afternoon the Thames No. 1 Rifles fired a handicap rifle match for Mr Rogers' cup. The ranges were 500 yds and 7500 yds, seven shots at each. The highest scorers were as follow:—Sergeant Pearce (handicap 6 points), 92; Corporal Newman (3), 79; Private McCollum (15), 79; Private Ladner (8), 7S; Private McGinn (15), 78; Sergeant Crosbie (scratch), 77; Private Bro-wn (4), 73; Private Morrison (6), 72; Private Lukey (5), 70: Private Kummert (8), GS; Private Causley (scr), 63; Sergeant Spraggon (3), 60.
