Sir,—ln Friday's issue a paragraph" appeared referring to the resignation as secretary of Sergeant-Major Mela, tosh. We wish to state that the facts were entirely misrepresented. The meeting was a meeting of committee not of the club, and as such had not power to accept his resignation.- As executive of the Non-Com.s' Club we wish to state that there, is nothing detrimental to Sergeant-Major Mcintosh, and no reason why his resignation should not be accepted.—We arfe. etc.,
