SHAREMARKET
The improved feeling for Waihi stocks continues. Extendeds sold today at 2/3, with further buyers at 2/4. Waihi shares were warited at. £5 17/6, but the selling figure advanced 2/G. Buyers of Waitekauris offered 3/3, and Crowns 11/. Tairua stocks were neglected to-day, Broken Hills being offered at 10/, and Ohelmsfords at 2/, but no buyers quoted. In cheap lines inquiry was made for Rising- Sun, Waihi Consolidated, Welcome Jack, May Queen Extended, and Maratoto shares, while buyers of Four-ln-Hand advanced from 7d to lOd. In standard lines coal shares were in ' request, Taupiris selling at 18/, while 92/6 was again offered for Westports, and 8/ for Hikurangis. Insurance stocks showed no change in values, with the exception that. Nationals sold at 20/ ex! di\> Buyers of National Bank shares advanced to 78/.
