THE PREMIER.
+ (By Telegraph.—Own Corresppndent,) WELLINGTON, Saturday. A deputation from Horowhouua today presented a farewell testimonial to the Premier in the House of Representatives; One speaker expressed the hope that Mr Seddon would be raised to some rank which would not detract from his position as a Liberal leader. Another hoped that a mistake would be made in the Coronation and Mr Seddon crowned and sent back as King Dick. A Lancashire man suggested that the Premier should receive the freedom of the city of Liverpool. All the speakers referred to Mr Seddor's services to the Empire and the keen grasp he had taken of the progress of the South African war.
