Lac^r Ranfurly and Ladies Constance and Eileen Knox, who are at present at " Overton," Marton, the residence of the Hon. F. Arkwrlght, M.L.C, are due at Government House on Wednesday. On the 23rd instant, St. George's, Day, Lord Ranfurly lays the founda-. tion stone of St- Matthew's stone ' church, and next evening he pre- ' sents the certificates at the meeting . of St. John iVmbulance Association. On the following day he lays ;.; the foundation stone of the Takapuna Presbyterian Church. His Ex-> cellency leaves Auckland about the end of next month.
