ST. JAMES' ANNIVERSARY.
The services in celebration of the anniversary of St. James' Presbyterian Sunday . School were held " yesterday in St. James' Hall, Wellington-street. The hall was tastefully decorated for the Occasion with flowers and evergreens. In the morning the Rev. 11. F. Macnicol, pastor of St. James', preached to a large congregation from the text Genesis xxxiii. 14.' In the, afternoon the Rev. J. Wilkins, spoke to the young people on "The Voyage of Life," and in the evening the service was conducted by ithe Rev. G. M. Macdonald, M.A., B.Sc., from Victoria. Special hymns were rendered by a strong choir under the baton of Mr John Hartw.ell, assisted by an orchestra, led by Miss- i_-trican on the organ. The' music Of one of the hymns "Again the Morn of Gladness," was composed by Mr Hantwell.
