In connection with the discussion which took place at the Harbour Board on Tuesday, when Mr. Arthur H. Nathan pointed out that one account of £211 had been paid to a son of a member of the Board without public tender, and without the account being passed by the Pinance Committee, our morning contemporary states that Mr. Nathan intends to resign his seat as a protest against the decision arrived at by the Board at its last meeting, accepting the explanation offered. Mr. Nathan informs us that he has not yet determined to resign, but is now considering the matter, and may do so if no further action is taken by the Board.
