SAD DROWNING FATALITY.
TWO BOYS LOSE THEIR LIVES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, this day,
Two lads named Henderson went down to the beach at Tomahawk,, near Portobello last evening, and stripping off their clothes waded across to the island. They evidently stayed there too long, and in endeavouring to get back were both drowned. The lads were cousins. One was son of Mr T. Henderson, a farmer, living at Tomahawk, and the other, Fenwick Henderson, ag-ed fifteen, the son of a bootmaker in Dunedin. Henderson had gone over to Tomahawk to spend his holidays. The body of the boy Fenwick has been recovered.
