ACCIDENTS.

XEW PLYMOUTH, Friday,
News has been received of a setf* cms accident to a coach on th« Purangi zig-zag, inland from Inglewood. It* appears that Cheyae't coach, driven by Rowutree, was crossing the zig-zag, when a largfi slip of earth came down on the roadi, throwing- the couch .and team over the side. The driver had the presence of'mind to jump clear, but the two polera were killed outright, and thft coach was smashed to atoms.
NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday,
A very serious accidient oecurrcd this afternoon to Kewton Hale, th» seven-year-old son of Mr John Hale, of Avenue Eoad. The boy, in Qoxsii pany -withj his older brother, went out to drive the horses from the pad? dock to the stuble as usual. Thig time they brought in an extra one, which lashed out and kicked the boy on the head. The sufferer was conveyed into town, and on examine tion by Drs. Leatham and Fookes, i% was found that his skull was fractiir* ed, also the upper jaw bone.
