V.M.C.A. CONCERT.

The annual concert tendered by Mr. J. H. Phillpot to the V.M.C.A. took place last evening in the V.M.C.A. rooms, and was largely attended. An excellent progranjme was presented. A good orchestra?under the contductorship of Mr. Phillpot, contributed several fine selections. Songs were given by Mr. Arthur Hahn (The Mighty Deep" and "Asleep in "tfce Deep"), Miss Laing ("The Three Fishers"), Miss Eyan ("Life's Lullaby"), and "What the Nightingale Sang"), and Master Woolley, and two excellent part songs by the "Eeowaru" Club, of eight. Herr Kreutzer played a violin solo; Messrs. Haswell, F. Gribbin and Phillpot played an instrumental trio; another instrumental trio was given by Herr Kreutzer and Messrs. C. B. Plujmmer and A. Bartley; and the orchestra played "The Egyptian PatroV Mr. J. H. Phillpot played the pianoforte accompaniments.
