PAEROA FOOTBALL.

(By Telegraph.— Owu Correspondent.)

PAEROA, this day.

The Ptieroa and Waitekauri senior teams met on Saturday afternoon at Paeroa, and an interesting contest resulted in a rather easy win for the home team by ten points to nil. The last match at" Waitekuuri was won by Waitekauri, and as the latter team had also defeated Waikino it was generally expected Uiey would score anotlw victory. Paeroa, however, played with much better combination than they had previously shown. Flynn and Robinson shaped really well amongst the bucks, whilst in the forward division East on, Walsh and Johnson played really good games, especially the former. Easton scored one try and kicked a goal from a mark, and Shaw also scored a try. Mr Phelan was an impartial and eilicient referee. Waitekauri and Waikino have now scored two wins each, und Paeroa one. The meeting of Waikino and Paeroa next Saturday will be full of interest.
