FUNERAL OF THE VICTIMS.

CHRISTCHURCH, Friday,

The victims of the Eyreton tragedy were buried in the Eyreton Cemetery to-day. There was an immense attend* anee at the funeral. One hearse carried all three coffins, and one grave, received all three, the little boy's edifia in white being on the top. The Revs. Orchard and Lewis conducted the furi« eral service, the former speaking iii high terms of the lives of the Maftia ladies. Mr Field, the evangelist, Who spent the Thui'sday evening with tbi deceased before their death, paid a tfi* bute to the kindness and truly rellgw ious lives of the two ladies. Speaking of McLean, he said his conversation tm Friday morning was not that of "an insane man. ■
