• The new schooner "Countess of Baniurly;". built at Whangaroa by Messrs Lane and Brown, to the order of the New Zealand Government, for the Cook Island trade, arrived from Whangaroa to-day,,being towen down by 'the tug-boat Admiral. Last night on the trip down some heavy weather and a severe ■ thunderstorm were experienced, which considerably delayed her arrival. We are now showing a smart assortment of picture hats in black, crinoline and-chip; also a few very shoice silk hats.
