Nelson played Canterbury at. Lancaster Park to-day, when the visitors were outclassed in both backs and forweirds, and although the home team played without much combination in either department, they won easily by 27 points to nil. Haliiday and Gordon Hcored tries in the first spell, but neither was converted, in Ihe second half Metuies (2), Black well, Rice and Drake scored tries, three of which were converted by Drake.
