INSPECTION BY THE GOVERNOR.
Yesterday His Excellency the Governor, accompanied by Mr. A. Kidd (chairman of the Harbour Board) and Captain Boseawen, inspected the wharf, and the arrangements for the arrival and berthage of the Ophir were explained to His Excellency, as well as the arrangements for the electrical signal to be given by the Duchess to the whole colony, announcing the arrival of the Royal party. His Excellency expressed himself thoroughly pleased with all the details.
