OBITUARY.

NAPIER, this day,
Mr. J. H. Kerr, for many years manager of. the local branch of the Union Bank, died to-day, aged 63 years. Deceased came to the colony in 1859, and was in charge of the Union Bank at the celebrated Gabriel's Gully rush in Otago m the early sixties. Mr. Kerr had a banking^ experience extending over thirtyseven years, having been manager of the" Union Bank at Hokitika, Greymouth, Invercargill, Wellington and Jfapier. .... ... . ..—.;..
