ADDRESS FROM THE GRAND LODGE OF N.Z.
An address to be presented by the Grand Lodge of N.Z. Freemasons to the Duke and Duchess of York has just been prepared by Mr Jas. Slator, architect of the Government Life Insurance Buildings. The address is a very striking piece of work. The lettering-, which is in red and gold, is on an oval ground, on each side of which is a typical New Zealand scene, representing a lake and mountains. On one side a nikau palm is prominent in the foreground, and on the other a tree fern. Over the lettering are the Duke's arms, and ttnderneath is a picture of the Auckland harbour, showing Mount Victoria and North Head and Rangitoto. The whole is engrossed on vellum, f
