Drunkenness. —Por this offence William Williams was fined £2, in default 14 days' hard labour, and James Smith, Andrew Jacob, and Carl l^awson each 10/ or 48 hours' hard labour. Two first offenders were convicted and discharged.
Illegally on Premises.—Thomas Solan was convicted of being found by night without lawful excuse on the premises of the Leyland-O'Brien Co., iv Customs-street. Prisoner was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. .Maintenance.—Charles Edward Collins was sentenced to one month's bard labour .for disobedience of a maintenance order, warrant to be suspended so long as defendant pays 4/ a week regularly. On the application of Thomas' Shewring, .an. order against him for the support of bi_ wife was reduced to 5/ a week, but the applicant was ordered to pay 2/6 a week off his arrears, amounting to £2 11/. .
