A man named Mathew Miller has been missing since the last day of the Takapuna Races (25th ult.), and as he was last seen near the Devonport Wharf, it is feared that he may have tumbled into the water unnoticed while endeavouring to get on board the ferry boat to return to town. The missing man is 38 years of age, sft. Bin in height, of stout build, dark complexion, and with dark hair, moustache, and whiskers tinged with gray.
To-morrow's issue of the "Graphic" win contain a series of pictures dealing with the recent fatal fire in the Grand Hotel, Auckland, as well as the first instalment of seventeen columns of Rudyard Kipling's new story, '•Kirn." ' '
