Another financial difficulty has arisen over street decoration-. The Decoration Committee applied to the Reception Committee for another £200, but that body, having already incurred liabilities amounting to .€I4OO, and having only £1200 nt its disposal, resolved to vote £100, conditionally on it being subscribed by the public. ' A further canvass is to be made, and the secretary states that unless further subscriptions are made the work will have to be stopped.
