Parnell and Suburbs were very evenly matched. The latter ■team made a splendid recovery in the second spell, and r.attled up four goals against their opponents' 1. Graham's shooting was erratic, and on three occasions the course of the ball was directed too high, otherwise he played a very hound game. Ward and Mason were a success on the attack.
