POUR PERSONS POISONED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WOODVILLE, this clay.
Mr Fairburn, the landlord of the Post" Office Hotel, his son, and two friends, were poisoned last night through eating tinned fish. They had had herrings and tomato sauce about ten o'clock and were taken ill at one this morning. Of the victims, one (McGee) is very bad, and the doctor was only called in time to save his life. There was a great improvement in the condition of all the sufferers this morning.
