THE ASSOCIATION GAME.
Owing to the bad weather on Saturday the Association matches between Auckland first and second representative elevens and teams from the warships were not played. JUNIOR MATCHES. North Shore v. Tabernacle "13": This was played at Devonport, and resulted in a. win for the Shore by 4 goals to nil. For the winners Hammond, Barlow and Line!'shot goals, the latter scoring twice. Pitt-street v. United: Pitt-street, won by two goals to one. F. Winstone and H. Penwick scored for the winners. United played two men short.
