(Received 9.55 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this-day.
Mr. Muloek, the Canadian Postmas-ter-General, in an interview, said he was gTeatly impressed'-.with all he had witnessed in Australia. The devotion of the people to Great. Britain and to British institutions was everywhere manifested, and furnished ample assxirance that Australians may be relied upon whenever the interests of the Empire required assistance. Their confidence in their country was most gratifying. The prospects of trade between Australia and. Canada were good, and Australians would secure a good market there for many of their products. He again strongly endorsed the favourable re-? suits of penny postage!
