CRICKET.
The cricket matches under the auspices of the Hamilton Cricket Association were continued on Saturday, when the Toilers and Slade's teams met, the result being an interesting contest. The Toilers batted first and knocked up 68. Worsley was the largest contributor with 24, Hammond coming next with 20. Johnson took sto? wickets for 24. Slade'B team batted splendidly, the combined scores reaching 84. Speight made 23, H. Johnson 17, F. Johnson 17, and Witherdin 14. The game was decided on the one innings.'
