The only cricket match played at Parawal ou Saturday was oue between St. Albans and Tararu Seniors. In the fourth innings of the match Tararu had to make 152 to win, but this they failed to do, scoring only 40, of which Newton (10) and Nicoll (10) were the only double figure scorers. On the conclusion of this game a match was started between teams of Seniors, captained by J. Pratt and J. McGregor. McGregor's side scored 49, S. McGregor (11) and B. Low (10) being tlie chief scorers. Pratt's team scored 65, Nieoll (23) and Chester (12) getting double figures. The following have been selected to represent/the Thames County against the Waihi
Association on Saturday next:—Bowden, Chester, Brown, Gralhani, Low, S. McGregor, NIcoU, Pratt, Young, Jobson and Peacocke. The team is far from strong, being weak both In batting and bowling. The most prominent absentees are Buclian, Carter, Barrow, Egginton, Laug and No\vton, who are all unable to get away.
