Messrs. Barton and Drake addressed meetings in Maryborough and Gympie.' The "Courier" warmly attacks Mr Barton's attitude.on the black labour question, and says it is totally at variance with that of the State Government. It denies there was a tacit understanding on the re-introducing of the traffic that it should/last only ten years, and claims the same consideration for the Queensland sugar industry as Mr Barton so readily promised Victorian industries.
