DEATH SENTENCES PASSED.
SYDNEY, February 28
Baker was found guilty of wounding Detective Toomey with intent to murdor, with a recommendation to mercy on the grounds of the wrong from which lie considered he was/suffering. Baker made a statement that Toomey got him sentenced in Queensland, though he knew he was innocent The death sentence was passed.
