Sir,—Your correspondent, "Ratepayer," in last night's issue of the "Star" asserts that he understands that valuations have In some eases been altered. Will "Ratepayer" kindly inform us through your columns, or bj' letter, how he acquired
such information, as a number of ratepayers consider sucii a proceeding to cast
a great reflection on the present valuer. I With regard io irregularity of the Bor-j ough Council In making valuations, it is: to be hoped that the electors will show j Strong disapproval at the forthcoming j election.
