A Wellington Press? Association telegram states that the racehorse Waiuku, winner of the New Zealand Cup. which Mr Spencer Gollun took to the Old Country, returned via Sydney by the Talune \ esterday.
The Thames Jockey Club's race meeting will eventuate on Monday, ■ March 4th, aud promises to be. n great pueur-sfl. The nounnations are well up to expectations, and acceptances are coming in l'ie.-!y. The .starting machine win be used. The Waku(ere will make a special trip from Auckland on Sunday, returning on Monday night.
