At tho conclusion of the ordinary practice last evening Bandmaster Munro, on behalf of the band, addressing Mr R. Peat In connection with his approaching departure, wished him every success, and as a token of their good-will handed him a purse containing a substantial sum. The health of tin; departing bandsman was then drunk in bumpers.
